Job summary

Deercreekseniorliving is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Afton, Wyoming. This position involves implementing care standards and assisting with patient evaluations and treatments under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist.

Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited OT assistant program, be eligible for OT certification, and possess strong communication skills. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed where the HHA is located if required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s functional status and home environment hazards.
• Teaches new skills or retrains patients in familiar daily activities.
• Maintains clinical records and communicates with registered occupational therapist.
