Job summary

HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the rehab team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and support interdisciplinary care to promote recovery and function.

Ideal candidates hold Illinois OTA licensure eligibility, current BLS, and are prepared to educate patients and families while coordinating with therapists and staff to ensure high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited OTA program and eligible for Illinois licensure.
• Current BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment.
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans as outlined by plan of care.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Educate patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement.

Pay Range: $24.31 - $36.47

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Certified OT Assistant to join their rehab team. Ideal candidates will be prepared to evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute on treatment plan as outlined by plan of care. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, co‑workers and self‑professional advancement. Perform other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.

• Schedule: Part time (27 hours weekly), Day shift, 7:30am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm (however, start times can be flexible), on call one weekend per month, holiday call rotation
