Job Overview:

This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing delegated duties under the physician's supervision. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording information, and preparing treatment rooms. The role involves cross-training to improve efficiency and team collaboration, focusing on patient care, medical record maintenance, and safety duties.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, or current RN or LPN licensure
• Skills in EKG, injections, venipuncture, and performing lab tests per CLIA guidelines and policies
• Up to 1 year of experience in a medical/physician office setting

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain professionalism and create a positive impression with patients and staff
• Demonstrate flexibility and dependability in duties
• Assist with medical procedures on adults and children proficiently
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the treatment area
• Follow principles of sterile procedures and proper equipment use
