HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN opportunities with our team. The role supports the Occupational Therapist by administering therapeutic modalities and treatments to patients in adherence to care plans.
As a COTA, you will participate in safety and infection control programs, communicate effectively with the care team, and contribute to program growth and patient progress.

Responsible for providing therapeutic modalities of treatment as supervised by the Occupational Therapist. Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the Occupational Therapist, after the Occupational Therapist has evaluated the patient. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization, which is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
