Job summary

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is sought for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Concord. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence in daily living activities after illness, injury, or surgery.

You will work with geriatric and post-acute populations, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and participate in a supportive team environment. This role emphasizes compassionate care and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in California is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 years preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
