Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support a Skilled Nursing Facility in Stockton, CA. You will work under an OT to help geriatric patients regain independence in daily living activities.

Ideal candidates have a California COTA license, current BLS/CPR, and at least 6 months of COTA experience, preferably in a geriatric or SNF setting. Strong communication is essential to collaborate with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Active California state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 6 months of recent COTA experience; SNF/geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising OT.
