Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapists in delivering patient-centered care in a long-term care setting in Mount Juliet, TN.

You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document patient progress weekly, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold professional standards and punctuality as essential components of excellent rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• The COTA carries out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provides treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Provides feedback to the supervising OT via documentation.
• Performs duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
