Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Registered Occupational Therapist, administers OT patient care programs across neonate to geriatrics.
• Executes therapy according to the established plan and appropriate procedures and equipment.
• Educates patients and caregivers on goals, home programs, and injury prevention.
• Recommends equipment and arranges delivery; monitors progress and discharge recommendations.
• Collaborates with therapists from other disciplines; documents patient care per criteria.
• Participates in quality improvement projects and staff in-services; assists with supplies.
