HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patient-centered rehabilitation. You will assist with goal setting for ADLs/IADLs, monitor clinical data, and help adapt treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

A Florida COTA license and BLS are required. Experience in healthcare and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred; no travel needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from AOTA.
• Current Florida COTA license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Follow treatment plan to set goals for ADLs/IADLs.
• Record, monitor and review clinical data; provide OT feedback on modifications.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques under OT supervision to meet patient needs.
• Participate in rounds and respond to patient needs to improve outcomes.
