MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patient care under supervision. The COTA screens, assesses and provides occupational therapy treatment for patients across ages from infants to geriatrics, within a 25-bed critical access hospital setting.
You will collaborate with the OTR, participate in evaluations, and contribute to individualized care plans.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at MercyOne, you will be under general supervision of OTR, the COTA screens, assesses, implements and provides occupational therapy treatment for patients. The COTA assists the OTR in the evaluation process. Possesses the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with departmental policy. The age of the patients served range in age from infants to geriatrics.
