ClearSky Health is actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role at our Rio Rancho, NM facility. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care, help patients regain independence, and support daily living activities with a patient-centered approach.
Applicants must hold state licensure as a COTA and BLS/CPR certification; 1 year of direct rehab hospital experience is preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.

This role is PRN and will work day shifts as needed.
A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
Our team-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) deliver rehabilitative care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, supporting patient progress, independence, and high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and goal achievement. Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes. Collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care. Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and follow safety protocols.
