Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Olmsted Falls, OH seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services to residents at Village of the Falls under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The role involves screenings, assisting in evaluations and contributing to self-care, homemaking and mobility assessments, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification for OTA.
• Current state license.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Conducts screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Identifies indications for evaluations at appropriate intervals and assists in the evaluation under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assists the Occupational Therapist in the evaluation process in the areas of self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, coordination and other areas as directed.
