Vibra Hospital of Sacramento in Folsom, CA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide and direct OT services to patients on 8-hour shifts across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You’ll perform assessments, plan treatments, document care, and work under physician orders in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, an active COTA license in California, and Vibra-approved BLS certification.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, located in Folsom, CA, is a 58 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
