Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. The role provides and directs OT services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation and related documentation under a physician’s orders.

Eligible candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, be nationally certified as a COTA, and hold an active California OTA license with current BLS. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA is required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment is required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required.

Hospital Details

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills:

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
