Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting in Fairhaven, MA. You will assist licensed OTs in implementing therapy plans to promote participation, independence, and success across school environments.

Responsibilities include evaluating needs under supervision, implementing plans for fine motor, sensory, self-care, and coordination, and documenting progress.

Competenze

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• NBCOT certification held and current state licensure as a COTA.

Mansioni

• Assist in evaluating students' developmental needs under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and coordination.
• Document student progress and adjust interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Support students during classroom tasks and adapt materials to meet diverse needs.
• Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions to foster social and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce therapy goals.

Position Overview

Princeton Staffing Solutions is hiring a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based special education setting. In this role, you will assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing therapy plans that promote student participation, independence, and success across school environments.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• National certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
