Jurupa Hills Post Acute in Riverside, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and support residents in regaining independence and functional skills.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF), post-acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes.
• Communicate resident status and treatment updates with the therapy team and interdisciplinary staff.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education as directed.
