Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for per diem coverage. You will work Monday through Friday 8 AM–4 PM as needed, at 1925 Pacific Ave location, under OT supervision to support complex patient care.

You will conduct individualized therapy regimens, monitor responses, document outcomes, and participate in ongoing education. This role offers an orientation program and potential advancement within the hospital system.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
