Job summary

Isle Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team. The COTA will provide quality rehabilitation care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, following the plan of care and facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians, and other team members.
• Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
• Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.
• Provide timely written documentation as required.
• Support and participate in department operations and development.
• Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist promptly.
• Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to access billing information.
• Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.

Provides quality rehabilitation care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist as outlined in the plan of care in accordance with laws, regulations, and Facility guidelines.

Job Requirements of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):

• Current COTA(Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)License
• Current CPR
• At least one (1) experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
