About the Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Desert Peak Care Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement personalized treatment plans for our patients. Your expertise and compassion will help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and regain independence. Your days will be filled with opportunities to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions
• Implement and modify treatment plans as needed, under the guidance of occupational therapists
• Provide patient education and training on activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive work environment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered outcomes

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Certification: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• Experience: Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a COTA
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong clinical skills
