Job summary

Step Up Rehab, in Ocala, Florida, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team at Hawthorne Center and TimberRidge Center.

You will provide skilled COTA services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance safety, function, and quality of life. Florida license required or eligible; SNF/post-acute experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Active Florida COTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled COTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.

Step Up Rehab is the in-house therapy provider at Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation & Healing of Ocala and TimberRidge Center for Rehabilitation & Healing.

Work inside the dedicated therapy gyms within these skilled nursing facilities, helping residents regain function and independence through skilled, compassionate care.

This position is exclusively for professionals licensed in the state of Florida as a COTA. All services are provided in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
