Job summary

Moraga Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a Part-Time/PRN basis. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to provide resident-centered therapy aimed at improving independence and functional abilities.

The role requires a current COTA certification and state licensure, with prior skilled nursing or post-acute setting experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current COTA certification and applicable state licensure/registration.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist residents with activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.
  • Document treatment sessions accurately and timely.
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the Occupational Therapist and care team.
  • Provide education and support to residents and caregivers as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.

Moraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a Part-Time/PRN basis.

The COTA will work alongside Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to provide quality, resident-centered therapy services that help residents improve their independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
