Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role in Laurel, MD. You will provide occupational therapy under supervision, assist with ADLs and mobility, and help implement plans to maximize resident independence.

This position emphasizes collaboration with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and the care team. Applicants should hold a Maryland COTA license; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments under supervision.
• Assist residents with ADLs, upper extremity function, balance, and mobility.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate with the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment and home safety.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence and quality of life while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and functional mobility
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and safety
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment, therapeutic techniques, and home safety
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Work closely with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
