Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position at Autumn Lake at Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD. The role provides occupational therapy under supervision to help residents improve independence in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of an OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and balance.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists while helping residents improve independence and quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, upper extremity strengthening, coordination, and balance
• Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to maximize resident outcomes
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
