Why You’ll Love Working Here

1. Small, Person‑Focused Environment

Hillsboro House is one of the smallest certified nursing/rehab facilities in New Hampshire, with only about 33 residents. Staff can build meaningful relationships and see real progress.

2. Opportunity for Individualized Care

Therapists tailor therapy plans to each resident, favoring quality and depth over volume.

3. Home‑Like, Community‑Connected Culture

The facility feels like home; residents go on local outings and participate in everyday activities.

4. Stable, Experienced Staff and Low Turnover

Very low staff turnover allows better teamwork and consistent care.

5. Locally Owned & Independent

Family‑owned, not part of a large chain—more flexibility and influence over care delivery.

Work with a wide range of clinical needs from post‑hospital rehab to dementia support.

7. Better Work–Life Balance

Competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive environment that supports staff well‑being.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, OT, nursing) to provide holistic care, and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies for independence.
  • Lead or assist patients with exercises, activities of daily living, and other therapeutic tasks, creating a positive, supportive environment to encourage engagement.
