Job summary

Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, OR is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents with rehabilitation plans. You will implement individualized therapies, assist with exercises and daily living activities, and teach adaptive equipment for independence.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential as you document progress and collaborate with facility staff to promote residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification (COTA) is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents reach goals.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and daily living activities.

Pay: $33/HR – $37/HR, Depending on Experience

Schedule

What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and daily living skills
• Teach the use of adaptive equipment to promote independence
• Conduct therapeutic activities and foster motivation
• Document patient progress accurately and on time

What We’re Looking For

• Current Oregon Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification (COTA)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
