Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare Center in Oakland, CA seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We support residents in achieving independence and quality of life with a collaborative, family-oriented workplace.

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents improve daily living skills, educate families on therapy programs and home practices, monitor progress, and coordinate with the

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living and functional skills.
• Educate residents and families on therapy programs, safety techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
