Job summary

ExpertCare seeks reliable and compassionate therapists to work 1:1 with the children we serve in clients’ homes across Southeast Michigan. You will be working with children to support, encourage and help them in important daily activities.

ExpertCare provides services to children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and strives to make a difference in recipients’ and employees’ lives. Flexible schedule and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the State of Michigan.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong People Skills – Good Communication - Teamwork.
• Strong Work Ethic - Adaptability/flexibility - Personal Responsibility.
• Critical Thinking Skills - Problem-Solving - Critical Observation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy services to children in their homes.
• Support, encourage, and assist children with daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote progress.
