Job summary

TheraPeds LLC in Moore, OK is seeking a full-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support PreK–12 students in a school-based program. You will provide therapy services, conduct assessments, and help develop IEPs.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, educators, and parents, maintain documentation, manage a manageable caseload, and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) serving a school located in Moore, OK.

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
• Active New Hampshire COTA license through the NH Regulation & Licensing Department
• NBCOT Certification
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working with children
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and  sensory‑motor dysfunction
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance

Physical Requirements
