As an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA), you will:

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
• Observe and document patients' progress, reporting back to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families about adaptive techniques and strategies.
• Ensure that patients’ safety and well-being are prioritized in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Must Have:

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the state.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with patients and their families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting (a plus but not required).
• Experience in acute care and working in a home environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and therapy documentation is a plus.
• Experience with KanTime EMR is a plus.
