Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient/outpatient care team. Provides COTA services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, delivering therapeutic interventions and documenting patient status.

The role supports the established plan of care, collaborates with the supervising therapist to adjust treatment as needed, and contributes to a team focused on high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an accredited COTA program required.
• One year of hospital or multi-disciplinary setting experience preferred.
• One year of outpatient/hand and splinting experience preferred.
• Current WA Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide COTA services under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Implement the established plan of care and report changes in patient status.
• Confers with supervising OT and makes recommendations for alterations to the care plan.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to optimize patient outcomes.
