Lakes at Lutz Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Florida. You will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and help implement individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation.

The role requires an active COTA license in Florida and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support development and execution of individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the OT.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.

In this role, you will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
