Balanced Healthcare is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team at a well-established skilled nursing facility in St. Petersburg, FL. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility and opportunities for clinical growth.

Key duties include providing skilled OT treatments to improve ADLs and mobility, supporting OT, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and documenting progress in Net Health or a similar EMR.

Qualifications

• Active Florida COTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred but not required.
• Interest or experience in cognitive therapy or behavioral health is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments to improve ADLs, mobility and independence.
• Implement treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Treat patients in a LTC and skilled nursing setting.
• Incorporate cognitive, behavioral, and functional rehab techniques.
• Document treatments and progress using Net Health or similar EMR.

• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and carryover strategies.

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing, in-house therapy program in a well-established skilled nursing facility (SNF) in St. Petersburg, FL.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments to improve ADLs, mobility, and independence
