TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a Georgetown, CO school-based role. Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree in OTA from an accredited program.
• Active Colorado COTA license (CO Regulation & Licensing Department).
• NBCOT Certification.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Experience working with children.
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify sensory-motor dysfunction.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion.

Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a part-time, on-site role as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) serving a school located in Georgetown, CO.

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details

• Part-time, 8-15 hours/week
• 2026-2027 School year, September - May/June.
• K – 12 grades
• Job duties: direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, case management
• Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time
• On-site, in-person
• Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
• Manageable caseloads
• $35-$45+/hour ($385-$495/week+)

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
