Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a Georgetown, CO school-based role. You will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, develop IEP plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators and parents.

The position offers guaranteed hours, an on-site setting, and collaboration with the District and TheraPeds to support K–12 students with special needs, while maintaining a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree in OTA from an accredited program.
• Active Colorado COTA license (CO Regulation & Licensing Department).
• NBCOT Certification.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Experience working with children.
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify sensory-motor dysfunction.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy and case management.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Perform evaluations and progress monitoring.
• On-site, part-time school-based therapy for K–12.
