Job description

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons, Saturdays (9:30-3:30) and PRN coverage for other COTA/ OTR co-workers when needed. The caseload will increase with time and could become a full time situation if that is of interest to the applicant

Position Overview: In this part-time position, you will provide treatment, document sessions and progress, and communicate and collaborate with parents and colleagues for a caseload of pediatric clients.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Provide treatment that moves clients towards their treatment goals under the supervision of an OTR/L.
• Communicate with and educate parents about how they can support their child's progress at home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Occupational Therapy interventions and techniques appropriate for pediatric clients.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and professionalism in a pediatric clinical environment.
• Ability to contribute to Program Development and implement structured treatment plans and group activities.
• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Maryland.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
