Interim HealthCare of NE Florida is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home therapy in Deltona, FL and surrounding areas. You will assess patients, develop goals, guide exercises, and document progress as part of a home health team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and Florida OTA license.
• CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks at home.
• Assess patients, observe deficits, set therapy goals and document progress.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
• Suggest adaptive equipment to improve safety and independence.
• Assess fall risks and educate on home safety and plan of care.
• Educate patient and family on plan of care, exercises, goals and self-care.
