Job summary

Uniontown Nursing & Rehabilitation in Uniontown, PA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled OT services under the supervision of a licensed OT, focusing on maximizing residents' independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania COTA license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• SNF or Long-Term Care experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Net Health is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.
• Assist residents in improving ADLs, upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques.
• Complete accurate documentation using Net Health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve best resident outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Uniontown Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. • Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and overall independence.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques.

• Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible resident outcomes.
