Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our PRN home health team serving Amarillo, TX and surrounding Panhandle communities. You will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home therapy.

This role requires an active Texas COTA license and current BLS/CPR. You will assess patient needs, help with daily living activities, coordinate visits with families, and document progress for the care team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas COTA license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
