Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Position Overview

In collaboration with, and under the supervision of an occupational therapist, the COTA helps patients develop, recover, and improve skills needed for daily living and working through therapeutic activities and exercises outlined in a care plan.

Job Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Education Program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
• Experience: 12 to 18 months related experience preferred, excluding clinical affiliations required for degree completion.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas OTA license in good standing.
• Certification: Current CPR certification.

Additional Information

• Safety Sensitive: This position is deemed safety sensitive per Arkansas Act 593 regarding Medical Marijuana.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to communicate effectively, focus, solve problems, handle stress, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 250lbs, and operate a computer.
