About Us

High Point’s Massachusetts Impaired Driving program, MID, is searching for qualified candidates to fill openings in our Brockton and Plymouth locations. MID is a 40-hour program for clients to complete who have a 1st offense OUI/DUI. This is a currently remote position with tasks including facilitating groups associated with a curriculum and completing intake assessments virtually. The position will work closely with MID Administrative Assistants at each site. Candidates should be open to facilitating up to 2 groups weekly (2 hours each) and completing 2 intakes weekly (90 minutes each). Group and intake times are flexible based on the candidate’s schedule. MID Groups take place after 5 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends. Intakes can be scheduled at any convenient time.

Facilitator Requirements

  • A Master's degree in clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation counseling, social work, or a closely related field, with at least one year of supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the listed disciplines with a minimum of two years of supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
  • A recognized certification or licensure with 4,000 hours of clinically supervised counseling of individuals with substance use disorders, including at least 220 hours of documented supervision.
