Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation & Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitative services for residents. You will deliver skilled treatments, ADL retraining, and therapeutic activities under supervision, while documenting progress in the electronic records.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, adherence to NBCOT/AOTA standards, and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Active State Licensure as a COTA (Colorado).
• NBCOT / AOTA guidelines compliance.
• Ability to work with an IDT and support rehab goals.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.
• Administers procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including ADL retraining and therapeutic activities.
• Assesses patient progress and adjusts treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluates treatment outcomes and modifies services based on evaluations and referrals.
• Provides counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Maintains thorough documentation in the electronic system and ensures accurate treatment minutes.
• Attends meetings and participates in trainings and conferences.
