Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients for physical functioning needs and wound care, creating care plans compliant with standards.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled therapy per plan and clinical requirements.
• Stand, walk, and assist with transfers; manage patient and equipment handling.
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Offer counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries documenting services provided.
