• Full-time: $35/hr - $45/hr DOE

Position Summary

The COTA provides direct occupational therapy rehab care to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT, following all applicable laws and standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal is optional
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
• Current registration/license in applicable state
• Preferred: 1 year post-acute care experience
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, and must remain current

Job Requirements

• Participate in community health projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email
• Coordinate with patients, families, support staff
• Maintain good body mechanics and make independent decisions
• Knowledge of laws and regulations in post-acute care
• Implement department policies and procedures
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
• Follow company policies and complete compliance training

• Follow treatment plans under OT supervision
• Accurately chart patient progress
• Utilize therapy software correctly
• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist in patient evacuation if needed
• Maintain dependable attendance
• Use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Perform physical activities as required
• Proficient in English
