Job summary

HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient team in Scottsdale, AZ. Per diem schedule with compensation at $35.00 per hour, reporting to an Occupational Therapist and contributing to patient care across brain and spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic cases.

The role requires current state licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification (or completion within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• BLS certification or commitment to obtain within 90 days as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy regimens under supervision of an OT.
• Monitor patient response and modify treatment as indicated with OT.
• Complete documentation per department policies.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Responsibilities

As a COTA you will be reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
