Job Description

The primary role of a COTA is to plan, organize, develop, and direct therapy services in accordance with applicable standards to ensure high-quality care.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff to plan therapy services involving patients and families
  • Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessments
  • Explain procedures, prepare equipment, and reassure patients during therapy
  • Adjust therapy techniques as needed based on patient progress
  • Document therapy notes following company policies
