Job summary

Houston Medical Center-AMG Specialty Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). The COTA assists the OT in developing patient treatment plans and administering therapy under supervision, supporting patient rehabilitation and documentation.

Requirements include Texas COTA license and current BLS, with strong English communication; multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Texas Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing individual treatment programs.
• Administer the occupational therapy treatment program as directed by the OT and as ordered by a Physician.
• Support patient rehabilitation needs and document progress as required.
