Job summary

East Ridge Village is seeking a full-time COTA to join our care team. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported by experienced staff in a collaborative environment.

Under the supervision of an OTR, you will provide comprehensive treatment, identify eligible patients for rehab, document progress weekly, and secure MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges. You will participate in meetings and other duties as assigned in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
