Harborview Post-Acute in Memphis, TN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team full-time. You will assist OTs in delivering therapy, support residents’ independence and daily living activities, and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or certification from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• License: Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required; current state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan.
• Teach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioning.
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
