As an MGA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you can expect:

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services and interventions to pediatric patients aged from birth to 21 years old.
Treat all assigned patients in alignment with the goals established by the evaluating Occupational Therapist (OT).
Maintain regular communication with the evaluating OT to relay patient progress, achievements, and challenges.
Offer teaching and counseling to patients and their families.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with department and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
An associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
NBCOT Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant
Current BLS CPR Certification per state regulations
Licensed to Practice Occupational Therapy in the state.
