Ultimate Therapy is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents at Autumn Lake at Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD. The role collaborates with an OT supervisor to implement a care plan and adapt activities for daily living, under skilled nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Turn established OT goals into purposeful treatment sessions tailored to each resident's abilities.
• Coach residents through self-care activities, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Incorporate prescribed therapeutic tasks that support upper-extremity movement, coordination, and endurance.
• Help residents practice adaptive equipment use and energy conservation techniques during daily activities.
• Keep the supervising OT informed of functional gains, barriers to participation, and changes in treatment tolerance.
• Document interventions and resident responses, working with nursing and rehab colleagues to reinforce strategies throughout daily care.

Make everyday activities part of meaningful recovery at Autumn Lake at Spa Creek. Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to help skilled nursing residents rebuild skills and adapt their routines under the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care.

What You’ll Do

• Turn established OT goals into purposeful treatment sessions tailored to each resident's abilities.

• Coach residents through self-care activities, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.

• Incorporate prescribed therapeutic tasks that support upper-extremity movement, coordination, and endurance.
